Record Breaking Passenger Boardings at Chattanooga Airport in October

28, 394 - Largest Single Month of Boardings on Record

(November 19, 2007) - The Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport saw a record-breaking number of passengers board airplanes in October. Passenger boardings grew by 25% over the same month in 2006, with 28,394 enplanements - the highest one-month total on record. Chattanooga airlines American Eagle, Continental, Delta Connection, Northwest Airlink and US Airways Express all saw strong growth in their July boardings. Allegiant Air, the airport's low cost carrier offering low fare service into Florida, filled nearly 90% of their seats for the month.
